 He continued: "Currently, 183 deaf people are using welfare services in the city of Ardakan, and a Deaf Family and Deaf Center affiliated with the Ardakan Welfare Office also provides children with hearing and speech problems in specialized services.
Hamid Reza Paydarfar said: "In the implementation of a hearing screening program in Ardakan in 1997, 2,155 newborns and children of kindergartens were screened for hearing impairment, of which 262 children and children with suspicion of hearing problems were identified and for follow up diagnostic Graduation and treatment were introduced to specialized medical centers.
Pajdarfar considered the goal of screening as early as possible to detect hearing loss or hearing impairment in infants and infants.
