50 percent of the elderly are without a wife

Director General of Yazd's Yazd Welfare Organization said in the course of teaching the common disorders of psychiatry during the aging period: "The infrastructure should be provided in such a way that the elderly is the beginning of a capacity period and an opportunity for the elderly."
Dr. Jalil Efati mentioned the average aged population of Yazd by 9.5% and said: "Attention to the dignity and well-being of the senility needs that disregard for that disappointment in the elderly."
He emphasized the necessity of reverting the dignity of aging and said: reverence for the dignity and status of aging in verses and hadiths, as well as in our national cultural and national discussions.
The Yazd Welfare Directorate, referring to a twofold increase in population aging, said that this is indicative of an increase in the average life expectancy of the community, and that the country's growth in health is so high that we are seeing an increase in aging.
Referring to the loneliness of the elderly in the community, he called for the promotion of an aging marriage culture in the community and said: "Culturally , an elderly without a wife can marry, and if old age also marries, unfortunately, it becomes a joke and humor." They do.
It should be noted that the training course for common disorders of psychiatry during the elderly period with the participation of a group of elderly people on the occasion of the week of reverence for the seniority of the morning was held today in the hall of the welfare conference in Yazd province.
