The head of the city's welfare organization said that with the establishment of a technical committee to monitor the suitability of the environment for the disabled, according to the decision of the city's monitoring committee, the monitoring of this organization will intensify in this direction.


Ahmad Ghafourian, at the meeting of the Committee on the Adaptation of the Environment for the Disabled, which was held to emphasize on the implementation of Article 2 of the Comprehensive Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, : All executives and administrators of executive and service organizations are required to cooperate and interact with each other in order to improve the city's urban conditions and spaces, and take full advantage of their existing capabilities and potentials in this regard.

He added that "the fitting of the environment, in addition to providing the disabled and veterans, can be effective for the elderly and those who suffer from fractures and have to use rehabilitation equipment."

Taking into account that monitoring of the location of places is one of the most important duties of welfare, said: "All places where people with disabilities, including mosques and places of worship, should be suited to be accessible to disabled people.

He asked the board of trustees of the mosques and township to ask the city to make its best efforts by attracting the investor in order to adapt these environments for the disabled as well as the elderly.
