Opening of handicrafts exhibition and holding sports competitions for the elderly

As World Elderly Day approaches; A ceremony was held in the presence of the Deputy of Rehabilitation of Yazd Province, the Political and Security Deputy of the Governor, a group of Ashkzar city officials and a number of elderly people of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) Sharafabad Ashkzar Institute.
According to the public relations of Ashkzar Welfare, on the occasion of the International Day of the Elderly and with the help of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) Charity Institute, an exhibition of works of art and handicrafts and sports competitions for the elderly was held in the presence of Dr. Sports and Youth of the city, Ms. Shaker, expert in charge of the daily office of the elderly, Mirhaji, head of the welfare department of the city and a group of elderly people of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) Sharafabad Ashkzar Institute was held.
In this ceremony, Dr. Neshan, the deputy of rehabilitation of the province, while congratulating this day, spoke about honoring the elderly from the Islamic point of view and said that old age is an important period of life that is accompanied by the natural course of physiological and psychological changes. Planning to fill leisure time and have a specific schedule will help the elderly to spend this period well and enjoy good mental health. They thanked and appreciated the presence of the elderly and the efforts of the staff of Hazrat Zahra Center.
It is worth mentioning that in this exhibition, the works of art and handicrafts of the elderly of the Zahra (PBUH) Day Care Center for the Elderly are displayed for the public to visit. At the end, a number of elderly people of the center were honored with a plaque of appreciation.
