Ali Mohammad Atabakhsh, referring to the activities of 9 boarding centers for the elderly, the disabled, and the chronically ill in the province, said: "So far, 634 residents of these centers have received the flu vaccine, and the rest of the residents are undergoing treatment."
He said: "Currently, about 8734 elderly people have rehabilitation files covered by the welfare of Yazd province, which includes the services of 33 rehabilitation centers on a 24-hour, daily basis, home visits and home care, continuous assistance, equipment and rehabilitation aids." Regarding the cost of treating welfare clients with coronary artery disease, he said: "All welfare clients are health insurance and their treatment costs are paid by insurance."
The Director General of Welfare of Yazd Province, referring to the implementation of the empowerment plan for the elderly by Behzisti, said: "The empowerment plan includes a range of interventions and services that help the elderly with the lowest level of participation to realize their potential at the end of the empowerment process N.

Atabakhsh stated that in 1999, 1300 elderly people in 19 provinces were covered by this project; He stated: The services provided in this educational plan are services based on demanding, services based on changing attitudes and empowerment.
