There are 2,300 disabled under the Ardakan welfare, and 450 of them are from Ardakan's 11 day care centers.
The Ardakan Public Welfare Organization said that the number of disabled people in various medical, nursing and various services of rehabilitation includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, opticians, audiometrics, etc., as well as counseling and psychology and counseling services they receive.
"In Ardakan, there is a boarding school for the elderly and a daycare center for mentally disabled, 4 daily mental, physical, hearing and deaf children's centers, 2 disabled workers' production workshops," said Arzakan, a member of the Ardakan- A home-based physical-disability home and a caring disabled person's facility.
