The Welfare Directorate of Yazd province said this at a seminar on the role of theater in empowering people with disabilities: "Looking at the community of people with disabilities before they need the first issues of life and mercy should go to the belief that there are people who can be empowered if they can Succeed in different fields.
Dr. Jalil Efati said that in recent years, welfare has succeeded in providing opportunities for people with disabilities to enter artistic and sport arenas.
He said that the only support for people with disabilities needs to be changed, said that the welfare is responsible for rehabilitation and empowerment, and in this context, more important is the establishment of the field, especially in the artistic sphere.
Dr. Efati said providing rehabilitation and empowerment services to people with disabilities can empower them and succeed in various sports, arts and sciences, and this is in order to strengthen their morale.
At the end of his speech, he called for the provision of artistic activities for people with disabilities to be provided by relevant cultural institutions at the community level.
It is worth mentioning that the role of theater was held in empowerment of people with disabilities with the participation of artists and directors of the Disabled Theater and a group of art educators from Yazd Province's Welfare Centers in the morning.
