Conducting Scientific Conference on Schizophrenia in Welfare of Yazd Province

Schizophrenia Scientific Conference on the occasion of World Schizophrenia Day, May 24, coincided with the third of Khordad with the presence of experts and managers of the centers for chronic psychological well-being of Yazd province.
Director General of Welfare of Yazd province at the conference in a speech pointing to the disorders, problems and problems of schizophrenia patients said that various causes and factors of genetic and environmental contributes to the disorder.
Dr Jalil Efati, referring to the movement of communities towards development, said: "People in today's society feel lonely and do not belong to society, and this threatens the health of the community."
He said the decrease in the relationships among individuals was due to the reasons for this loneliness and said: At the family level, we have seen the association of people and the time of dialogue and verbal communication between family members.
He said: At an early age, the first issue that the elderly are planning is loneliness and separation from the family.
The Welfare Directorate of Yazd province said that 40 percent of mental disorders were identified at the community level, adding that the statistics of social harm, addiction and divorce confirm that 40 percent of Iranian society are in various forms exposed to mental disorders.
He emphasized the need to prevent mental illness and said that many mental illnesses aged between 16 and 25 show signs and can be detected by providing facilities for the disorder, especially in the families where it is located. Give it
Jalil Efati referred to knowledge and skills to people from welfare programs and said: welfare in the field of social health and other components of the health of the body and mental community in some way and plays a role in this regard.
He referred to active rehabilitation as a welfare strategy in serving the target community and said community-centered and family-centered rehabilitation is considered a welfare state for chronic mental patients.
Director General of Welfare in Yazd province added: In active rehabilitation of disorder diagnosis, rehabilitation and treatment, awareness and education in family with the presence of family.
